Notes From the Soil speaks for itself. Think of this website as a kind of open journal; our way of writing down what we’ve learned, tried, and discovered through our experiences with the soil.
For us, the soil is more than just dirt beneath our feet. It’s where seeds turn into food, where raw materials for our homes come from, and where so much of life quietly begins. That’s why we use this space to capture those connections and share them with you.
Our authors write about gardening, cooking, home décor, and the many little things that are “birthed from the soil.” Some of what you’ll find here comes from years of practice, while other parts are simply notes from experiments, lessons learned, and ideas worth passing along.
We don’t claim to have all the answers; we’re learners, too. But by writing it all down, we hope to create something useful, inspiring, and relatable for anyone who wants to live a little closer to the soil.
So take this as an invitation: flip through our notes, try out the ideas that speak to you, and maybe even add a few “notes of your own” along the way.
